One of our board members has experienced “covid vaccine arm” after getting her first dose of the vaccine. In some women, this reaction includes swollen lymph nodes in your armpit area. Because of this, some have recommended waiting four to six weeks after your final vaccine dose before having a mammogram. That way, any lymph node swelling caused by the vaccine has time to go away. We recommend consulting with your doctor, but wanted to spread awareness.

Yesterday we laid to rest my father, Mr. 50/50 Man & and our favorite (and only) kilt wearing golf tournament player. I remember when The Haunted Ho***rs Foundation came to be. And my father was there every step of the way. What had started off as a single Bowling for Bo***es event, turned into a full fledged foundation, all because of copyright issues. We learned that the name for the event was legally claimed by a group in Los Angeles. I reached out asking for permission to use the event name and they declined. So I spent days trying to think up a new creative name for the Halloween themed event. My father and I worked together, so I was sitting at the desk spouting off one terrible name after another. He was talking to a customer and I blurted out real loud “HAUNTED HOOTERS!” They both looked at me and said “WHAT?!😳” I said, “The Haunted Ho***rs Foundation. I don’t think I’m looking for a name for an event. I think I have to start a foundation.” And so it began. We started adding new events and raising more money for more breast cancer patients. I remember having a meeting in my basement and my dad was there, helping as he always did. He said, “I just have to say that I want to acknowledge what is happening here. I want everyone to remember being in this house, in this basement, having this meeting, when this foundation becomes something big. I want everyone to remember this when Haunted Ho***rs goes nationwide.” My father always had more faith and bigger dreams for me and this organization than even I did. And while 2020 has kicked us in the teeth in numerous ways, I know that we will get back on our feet and do everything he knew we would. I would like to thank everyone for their condolences and kindness this past week. And for the patience while I handle matters pertaining to my father and his affairs. I have full intentions to get Haunted Ho***rs back to normalcy. But right now I need to focus on saving my father’s business and everything he’s worked so hard to build for his girls and community.

With Love & Appreciation,

Jade Eddy

This week the Haunted Ho***rs Foundation lost one of their own. President Jade Emily's father Bob Ball was a huge part of our foundation volunteering his time to help at all of our events and coming up with some great ideas of his own to help our cause. He was always so proud of his 3 daughters Jade, Chelsea & Devin and was always committed to supporting them in everything they put their minds to. He always made us laugh and would always make you feel included. He was definitely the HHF dad. He will be truly missed by many. Thank you for being a part of our lives Bob, we are so grateful 💗

Saying “All lives matter” during a movement focused on healing lives in the black community, is like coming to one of our breast cancer charity events and screaming “All illnesses matter!” at our recipients. Yes, we recognize that all illnesses matter. But our focus is on breast cancer. And you protesting our efforts doesn’t help anyone, with any illnesses.

It is our duty to all do our part in making this world a better place. For all. So, please join us in supporting our fellow Americans in showing kindness, love and understanding. Because, just as with our mission and our fundraising efforts, we are stronger together.
