Last week, we had the opportunity through the Lake Jackson Business Association to host Samantha Gathright, Momentum Program Manager at Brazosport College and learn more about the incredible impact the Momentum Program is making in our community.
The biggest takeaway? The program is supporting around 100 students this year, with a goal of growing to 200 students next year.
Momentum helps local students overcome barriers to education by providing support systems, guidance, and resources that help them stay enrolled, succeed, and build a better future right here in Brazoria County.
Programs like this matter. Strong local education and workforce development directly strengthen our businesses, industries, and community for the future.
