The library was unfortunately lost in last night's storm, which is a devastating loss. All damaged books will live on in collaborative art projects such as paper making, journaling and crafts. As for the library itself we already have plans to deconstruct it and utilize the pieces for other projects.

We are now on the lookout for another cabinet that could be donated and brought to life to carry this project forward...

Library Update Glass Doors & Books

We want to share a quick update to keep everyone informed and reassured.

The glass doors at the library were damaged, the broken part has been located, and repairs are already in motion. The space is secure and will be restored.

As for the books that were damaged:
• They will not be trashed
• They will not be wasted

Any damaged books will be repurposed for art projects and creative use, keeping them in circulation in a new form rather than sending them to a landfill.

We appreciate the community’s patience and care for this space. Transparency matters to us, and so does stewardship of buildings, books, and trust.

Help Us Stock the Little Pantry (Specific Needs = Immediate Impact)

Our little pantry is running low, and this is one of those moments where a few specific items make a big difference.

If you’re able, we’re currently needing: • Canned proteins (tuna, chicken, beans)
• Rice & pasta
• Peanut butter
• Canned fruits & vegetables
• Shelf-stable milk
• Toiletries (toothpaste, soap, wipes)

You can drop items off any time of the day

If shopping isn’t an option right now, sharing this post helps us reach someone who can.

This pantry exists because the community shows up for each other and right now, showing up looks like a can, a bag, or a box. Thank you for being part of that.
