The Lake Helen League for Better Living is always so honored to give back to our community. 🌱

On Tuesday, May 19th, Kim Carrick, LHLBL President, along with Krista Simmons, LHLBL member, presented a $1,000 donation to Shoestring Theater. Accepting the donation are Shoestring Theater President Anne Sollien, Treasurer Lori Lemoine and member Bee Gutierrez. These funds were raised from the League’s recent Tables in Bloom Tea Party, Paint and Sip and Art Show events.

We are grateful for the continued support of our community and for everyone who has supported the League and made our events such a success! Together, we are proud to invest back into the heart of Lake Helen! 🤍

What a beautiful and successful Tables in Bloom!

Hopkins Hall looked incredible thanks to our talented tablescapers, who completely transformed the space with so much creativity and charm. Every table was unique and beautifully done.

The afternoon was filled with tea tastings, music, art, laughter and a whole lot of community spirit.

Thank you to the Lake Helen Garden Club, Friends of the Lake Helen Library, Outside the Gates Food Pantry and Shoestring Theatre — and to all our League board and volunteers, sponsors, donors, artists and guests who helped make the event such a success.

Construction is going on most days from 7am-3pm. Just show up and see how you can help.

Lake Helen Lake Day: This celebration was established to bring neighbors together and encourage conservation of the lake, which is a centerpiece of the community's historic charm.
