Be the Sunshine Foundation has been accepted for a grant opportunity through the Arizona Financial Foundation, and we need your help!

National Rainbow Baby Day holds a special place in our hearts. As mamas who know firsthand the heartbreak of loss and the joy of welcoming a little rainbow after the storm, this day is extra special to us.

22 women. 🤍

Twenty two women showed up last night and chose to be vulnerable, to connect, to listen, to laugh, to cry, and to remind each other that none of us have to do motherhood alone. My heart is so full.

I’m incredibly grateful that I’ve had the opportunity to create a safe space like this and to host Mama Mental Health Group alongside Maria. Mental health matters. Motherhood can be heavy. And neither are talked about nearly enough. But I’m so glad we talk about it here.

I’m so thankful there’s a room where moms can show up exactly as they are. Where the hard things aren’t uncomfortable to say out loud. Where you can look around and realize someone else gets it. Last night was such a beautiful reminder of why this matters.

To every woman who walked through those doors and filled each of these chairs, thank you for trusting us with your stories, your hearts, and your time.

This little community means more to me than I can put into words. I can’t wait for our next group. ☀️

Motherhood can be beautiful and still feel really hard sometimes.

This month at Mama Mental Health, we’re talking about perinatal mental health, what it can really look like, signs to watch for in ourselves and our friends, and how we can better support one another.

One of the biggest lies motherhood tells us is that we should be able to do it all by ourselves.

But the truth is, we all need people.

That’s why everything we do, from support groups and social events to scholarships and supplies, is built around one simple goal: Helping moms feel seen, supported, and never alone.

Babies outgrow things so quickly, but that doesn’t mean those items can’t bless another family.

We had the best time at Mama Mental Health group last night.

This month we talked about identity erosion, the feeling of losing yourself somewhere along the journey of motherhood. Together, we created vision boards to reflect on not only what we’ve lost, but all we’ve gained and the women we’re becoming.

It was so special to welcome new faces to our group and watch new friendships begin. We also got to celebrate one of our sweet mamas’ birthdays. We were so honored she chose to spend part of her special day with us.

Thank you to every mama who showed up, shared, listened, and encouraged one another. If you’ve been thinking about coming, we’d love to have you join us next month. 🤍☀️
