The Lake Havasu Marine Association is very excited to have Lake Havasu Scuba joining us for the 3rd Annual End of Summer Clean Up, October 10 beginning at 7am and hosted by Havasu Riviera Marina! This is going to add another, very important layer to our clean-up efforts. Every piece of trash collected makes a difference! Event shirts, snacks, lunch, and door prizes are included for all registered volunteers! Help us keep Lake Havasu clean and be a part of something special!

We are excited to announce that we are joining Lake Havasu Marine Association on Saturday, October 10th for their End of Summer Lake Cleanup. We will be meeting at Riviera Marina and heading over to Copper Canyon to clean all the trash out of the cove.
Water, snacks, and prizes will be given out for different categories.
Rental scuba gear will be provided for free if you are helping with the cleanup, limited supplies available so let us know asap.

Let us know if you would like to volunteer as a diver, surface support, or can bring your boat to transport divers or trash

We’ve been listening, planning, and working behind the scenes—and we’re excited to give you the first look at some of what’s new for the 36th Annual Lake Havasu Marine Association Boat Show, March 12–14, 2027!

🚤 A NEW IMMERSIVE LAYOUT
We’re reimagining the way you experience the Boat Show, with a new layout designed to make exploring the show more engaging from the moment you arrive.

🎣 AN EXPANDED KIDS & FAMILY ZONE
The Boat Show isn't just for the grown-ups! We're creating more opportunities for our younger visitors to get involved, have fun, and discover their own love of the lake—including a Youth Fishing Derby!

Because some of the best memories—and a lifelong love of boating and the outdoors—start when we're kids. 💙

And these are only the first of the changes coming in 2027. 👀

Meet Butch and Su-Lyn Menzies Ortiz, two of LHMA's Faces Behind the Mission

Why do you volunteer with LHMA?
Butch and I enjoy volunteering with the Lake Havasu Marine Association. We have found a great group of people, of all industries, that share the same premise of bringing awareness to our beautiful lake and trails. We love being outdoors and want to keep the land and water as pristine as we first saw it, over 40 years ago. It is clearly important we need to share our knowledge of boating safety, marine conservation and cleanliness of our beaches and coves. With this association we are able to help where needed and learn as we go. It is wonderful we have guest speakers at our meetings who enable us to know what is happening in and around Lake Havasu. We believe in the mission of LHMA and will help continue the quest.

Every volunteer has a story. Every story makes a difference.

Keeping beaches and lakes clean is not just about looks — it’s a critical step in safeguarding ecosystems, wildlife, human health, and the economic vitality of communities. The Lake Havasu Marine Association is dedicated to the conservation of Lake Havasu and its shoreline.
