𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲.

At today's Lake Havasu City Veterans Resource Team meeting, we had the privilege of witnessing a wonderful example of what can happen when local organizations come together with a shared purpose.

𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝘅𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝟴𝟭, represented by Leslie, presented a donation to 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗮𝘀𝘂, represented by Kevin, to help the organization restock and replenish after providing assistance to recent fire victims in our community.

And that is exactly what the Veterans Resource Team is about.

We bring together veteran organizations, nonprofits, service providers and community partners so they can learn about one another, build relationships, identify needs and, when possible, step up to help.

Sometimes those connections lead to resources for a veteran. Sometimes they create a new partnership. And sometimes, like today, one organization hears about a need and simply says, “H𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽?”

A sincere thank you to American Legion Auxiliary Post 81 for stepping forward and to Veterans Thrift of Havasu for continuing to serve those in need throughout our Lake Havasu City community.

When our organizations work together, our entire community becomes stronger. ❤️🤍💙

The Lake Havasu City Veterans Resource Team is excited to announce that registration for STAND DOWN 2026 is now open!

This annual event brings together Veteran-serving organizations, nonprofits, healthcare providers, businesses, and community partners to connect veterans with valuable resources, services, and support. Last year's event brought together dozens of organizations and hundreds of veterans, and we're already working to make 2026 even bigger and better.
