In Havasuโ€™s founding years, community leaders and developers were looking for industries that could anchor the city with stable jobs and long-term growth. As part of that effort, McCulloch Aircraft decided to locate a manufacturing operation in Havasu, planning to produce the J-2 gyroplane.
..Kerber said the gyroplane will be stored at a hangar near the Hangar 24 restaurant at the airport, with the option to open the hangar doors for public viewing when they see fit.

Michael Auria here ...

The Lake Havasu Museum of History would like to say good-bye and good luck to volunteer Edd Braun (pronounced Brown). He has made the decision to move on to greener pastures; anything has to be greener than Lake Havasu City :-) We thank him for his many years of service as a docent (as well as the other hats he wore here at the museum). We'd like to wish Edd well in his move; he'll be missed.
