📣 Donation Request! 🎲📚🧩

As the summer heat bears down, many members of our community are stopping by The Salvation Army Lake Havasu Service Center to cool off. We'd love to provide them with a few activities to help pass the time while they're here.

We're currently seeking donations of:
🧩 Word search books
📰 Crossword puzzle books
🎨 Adult coloring books (We have plenty of pencils and crayons)
🎲 Board games such as Connect Four, Checkers, Sorry!, Uno, and other easy-to-play games

Your donations will help create a welcoming space where our guests can relax, stay cool, and enjoy a little fun during the hottest part of the day.

Donations can be dropped off at our office Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., or by appointment.

The Salvation Army is hosting a Water Drive to support those in need during these hot months.

The need for food assistance continues to rise as families in our community work to put meals on the table. Our food pantry helps support our neighbors, but right now we are very low on several staple items that help us build nutritious food boxes.

We are especially in need of:

🥫 Portable Protein – canned tuna, SPAM, peanut butter
🥣 Cereal & Breakfast Items
🍝 Canned Meals – Chef Boyardee, Spaghetti-O’s, chili
🍑 Canned Fruits
🥕 Canned Vegetables
🍫 Granola Bars
🥤 Drink Packets
🍚 Rice & Pasta

River Valley Home Health & Hospice + Salvation Army = Community Love! ❤️
Last week, we teamed up with the Salvation Army for their Hot Meal Wednesday to serve those in need. On the menu? Delicious spaghetti and garlic bread, and plenty of smiles! 🍝🥖
It was such a joy to share stories and connect with amazing people in our community. Giving back is at the heart of what we do, and this is just one of the many ways we show it! 💙
