AWARD-WINNING MUSIC TONIGHT!

Over the weekend, our band students traveled to California to compete in the Music in the Parks concert band festival, and they represented Lake Havasu High School beautifully.

The Wind Ensemble earned 2nd place overall with a score of 91, receiving the program’s first-ever Superior rating, the highest rating awarded!

Even more, out of 10 performing ensembles, including jazz groups, choirs, and bands, LHHS was also awarded the Esprit de Corps Award, recognizing reputation, maturity, professionalism, respect, and the way students represent their school and community.

We are incredibly proud of these students for their hard work, dedication, and the way they continue to shine both on and off the stage.

You can hear this award-winning music at the band’s final concert of the year tonight, Tuesday, May 12, at 6 p.m. in the LHHS Performing Arts Center. Admission is free!

See the LHHS Band Boosters at intermission!

The LHHS Band Concert is happening Tuesday, May 12th at 6pm in the Performing Arts Center at the high school, featuring the Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble. Come and enjoy some live music at our last performance of the year and enjoy refreshments provided by the Band Boosters. Free admission, all are welcome! The LHHS Colorguard Showcase is Thursday, May 7th! Colorguard is a Fine Arts Elective Class that utilizes dance choreography and flag and rifle techniques! This hardworking flag team performs with the marching band and also in their own performances throughout the year. Come watch a variety of different performances at our Spring Showcase, happening Thursday May 7th, at 6:00 pm In the New Gym. Free Admission, we hope to see you there! Thank you for your support! 🙂

Hello everyone! Just a reminder with tax season soon coming to a close that in Arizona you can choose where your tax dollars are being spent. Arizona allows a dollar for dollar tax credit to organizations of your choice ($200 filing single and $400 filing married joint).

This includes the LHHS Band of Knights! Simply write LHHS Band as seen below to choose how your tax dollars are invested!

Hello all! The LHHS Band of Knights will be selling tickets to our annual dinner and silent auction, Hollywood Knights, starting today and going through April 10th. Dinner is provided by Dos Amigos Tacos with dessert provided by the Culver’s of Lake Havasu. Tickets are $30 through April 10th. If you are interested please reach out to a LHHS Band Student or message us directly.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Butter Braid Fundraiser this year! Deliveries will began March 26th from the students that you purchased from. With that we are excited to announce that we will soon be selling tickets for our annual Hollywood Knights Dinner and Silent Auction! Dinner this year will be a Taco Bar provided by Dos Amigos and dessert will be a Sundae Bar provided by Culver’s! We are still taking in donations for our silent auction so please reach out if you would like to donate.
