We are a growing group of caring women committed to extending a "hand up" to women of Lake Havasu City who find themselves falling through the cracks when burdened with a particular financial need t
hat cannot be met elsewhere. WHAT WE DO
We work in partnership with local community non-profit organizations to identify and provide financial assistance to women for a variety of needs when all other resources have been exhausted. HOW WE DO IT
With the assistance of our non-profit partners, candidates who meet the following criteria and guidelines are referred to Women with Willpower for consideration. Residency Recipients must demonstrate that they reside within the 86403, 86404, 86406 zip codes of Lake Havasu City, Arizona for a minimum of 90 days. Referral Recipients must be referred by one or more of the following:
• A non-profit organization, church, or school, located within the Lake Havasu City, Arizona zip codes of 86403, 86404, 86406
Distributions All funds, whether in the form of actual funds, voucher, etc., will be issued to the recipient through the referring non-profit. No funds will be given directly to recipient. Exclusions Matters NOT funded by WOMEN WITH WILLPOWER include but are not limited to:
• Matters which can be funded elsewhere
• Bail or legal fees for those charged with criminal acts
• Credit card bills
All grants are made at the discretion of the Board of Directors under the guidelines of WOMEN WITH WILLPOWER INC.
