Thanks to everyone who took a few minutes to fill out our HGS season survey.

We received 107 responses — which gives us a lot of great feedback to work through. We appreciate the honest input, the ideas and everyone who took the time to tell us what worked and where we can do better.

What’s next?

The HGS Board will review the results and talk through next steps at our meeting on September 9 at 6:00 PM.

And that meeting isn’t just for board members. Everyone is welcome. If you care about HGS, have ideas or just want to hear where things are headed, come join us.

We’ll provide the burgers. You bring the opinions.

Hallie Boys Baseball is looking for a few more players at the 8U, 9U, 10U and 11U levels to help build second teams for 2027.

Know a kid who loves baseball and is looking for a place to play? Send this their way.

Additional tryout: Sunday, September 13 at 1:00 PM

Give their post a share and help them fill those rosters. More kids playing ball is a win for all of Hallie.

We’re doing a little shed clean-out tomorrow at 5:30 PM.

A few of us will be there digging through whatever has managed to accumulate over the years. If you’re free and want to help, come on over. More hands will make it go a whole lot faster.

Can’t make it? No problem. We have plenty of other ways to get involved with HGS, and some of them require considerably less dust.

We’re looking for help with things like Treasurer, Marketing, Hallie Youth Days Coordinator and other volunteer roles throughout the year.

Hallie works because people are willing to help when they can.

The fields are a little quieter now.
The uniforms are a little dirtier.
The girls are a little taller.
Some hit their first home run.
Some learned how to catch a fly ball.
Some made a new best friend.
And every one of those moments happened because an entire community chose to invest in them.
To every business that supported Hallie Girls Softball this season—thank you.
You didn’t just sponsor a team.
You helped create confidence.
You helped build friendships.
You helped give these girls a place to belong.
Because softball is more than a game.
It’s summer nights at the ballpark.
It’s memories that stick around.
And it’s a community that shows up for its kids.
