Rotary Club of Lake Geneva Meetings first and third Tuesday
12:10 pm @ Lake City Social
Join us! Paul Harris, a lawyer organized the original Rotary Club in Chicago Illinois.

It first met February 23, 1905
Harris missed the friendship he had enjoyed in a small town. His idea was to bring together individuals of different business and professions so they could recapture the friendliness of the small towns many had known as youngsters. The name “Rotary” was chosen because the Club met in rotation at each member’s place of business. From the beginning, the ideal of friendship, fellowship and service to others has spread through six continents. For over 99 years, concerned individuals have made Rotary’s motto “SERVICE ABOVE SELF” meaningful to people throughout the world. Presently more than 1,200,000 men and women in 165 countries belong to over 31,000 Rotary Clubs associated with Rotary International. Rotary is not a secret organization and does not seek to interfere with any religious or political beliefs.
