🚜🌱 What an absolute blast at FFA Agriscience Day! 🌾🐥

Today, our incredible team of 53 volunteers worked together to bring the amazing world of agriculture to life for some very special 3rd graders! Our future agriculturalists explored hands-on learning across six awesome stations:

🌱 Soil Science – digging into the dirt to see how things grow!
🐷 Animal Science – meeting furry friends and learning how we care for them!
🧀 Wisconsin Commodities – celebrating our state's amazing homegrown goods!
🐟 Aquaculture – diving into the world of fish and water farming!
🧪 Food Science – discovering the tasty science behind the kitchen counter!
🪴Plant Science - propagating their very own plant to take home!

We aren't sure who had more fun—the 3rd graders exploring these fun realms of ag, or our volunteers sharing their passion for the blue and gold! 💙💛

A massive THANK YOU to our hard-working volunteers, teachers, and students for making today so memorable. The future of Wisconsin agriculture is looking brighter than ever! 🌟🧑‍🌾

Captains log stardate 10/02/2026...
Something fishy has been going on around here... Fish printing! This week freshmen worked with the Japanese art of printing to learn to identify fish and fins! We'll keep swimming into next week when we will work with the fish in our greenhouse. Stay tuned for another update featuring real life data of our live tilapia!

🍁 Falling for leadership! 🍂💛

Our FFA chapter had the absolute BEST time at the FFA Fall Leadership Workshop! 🌟 From the moment we arrived, our members were diving headfirst into growth, teamwork, and a whole lot of fun.

Here’s a quick peek at all the amazing things we got to do:

✨ Interactive Workshops: Learning what it truly takes to lead with passion and purpose.
🤝 Team Building: Making new connections and strengthening our bond as a chapter.
🧠 Problem-Solving Challenges: Putting our skills to the test with hands-on group activities.
🎤 Inspirational Speakers: Hearing powerful messages that left us ready to ignite change in our community.

We are coming home with full hearts, big ideas, and an absolute fire to make this FFA year the best one yet! 🔥🌾 A huge thank you to everyone who organized this incredible event and to our amazing members for representing us so well.

Holy cow, what an incredible time at the World Dairy Expo in Madison! 🐮✨

Our amazing students completely crushed it this week, bringing their absolute A-game to the ultimate dairy stage! 🌟 From the barns to the evaluation tables, they worked hard, had fun, and represented us so well.

Here is a look at what they tackled:
🌱 Forages Judging – Digging deep into plant science, identifying samples, and proving they know their stuff when it comes to top-notch feed!
🥛 Dairy Products – Testing their senses to evaluate milk and dairy quality like total pros (and yes, enjoying some delicious cheese and ice cream along the way)!
🐄 Dairy Cattle Judging – Stepping onto the legendary colored shavings to evaluate top-tier dairy breeds with sharp eyes and confidence!

When they weren't competing, they were exploring the massive trade show, meeting industry leaders, and learning all about the latest innovations in agriculture. 🚜💡

We are beyond proud of your teamwork, dedication, and passion. Way to make us proud! 🎉👏

🐾 Captain’s Log: Stardate 2026.9.22 🐾

The USS Badger Ag crew is busy keeping the ship running on maximum cuteness and curiosity today! Here is our current sector report:

🧪 Biotech Sector: Our mad scientists-in-training are supervising some very tiny, bubbly crew members! They are deep into fermentation labs, watching their little microbe friends do their thing. Science has never been so bubbly! 🫧

🌱 Freshman Quadrant: The greenest crew members are taking care of the greenest plants! The freshmen have officially adopted our baby poinsettias. They are giving them all the love, light, and pep talks they need to grow big, bright, and festive for the holidays! 🎄✨

🐶 Companion Animal Division: Warning—extreme fluffiness ahead! The crew is conducting routine lab and health checks on our favorite four-legged co-pilots. Hearts are being melted, vitals are being checked, and tail wags are at an all-time high. 🩺❤️

All departments are reporting 100% cozy vibes and excellent morale. Over and out! 🚀🦡
