Children’s World Impact seeks to break the cycle of poverty through care and community development aimed specifically at orphans and widows. Care projects for women and children have included providing food, clothing, shelter, education, and income opportunities. Community development projects have included building schools, housing, water purification systems, and medical facilities. Locally, CWI has now brought Safe Families for Children to southern Wisconsin, helping provide families in crisis, a "Safe Family" for temporary child placement.

Land is being surveyed in Zambia, Africa, so it can be officially titled to the organization, The Feeding Spoon. Once this is completed, construction will begin on an elementary school, financed by CWI, to serve children who have literally been meeting in a pig barn for their instruction. We are excited to be working with Pastor Quistin, a local Zambian pastor, to give these children the opportunity to meet in a regular school building.

The maize grinding operation is in full swing in Malawi. Funding for land acquisition, construction of the building, and purchase and installation of the machinery was provided by CWI. Profits from this business will allow pastors throughout the Central African Conference to support orphans, widows, and vulnerable members of their communities.

What a blessing to be able to continue to finance improvements to Chikanda Primary in Malawi. Major renovations continue to take place on the main classroom block. Now that the roof has been replaced, exterior and interior whitewashing and painting are taking place.

Two acres of land are being purchased in the beautiful countryside of Malawi to start a goat rearing project. We are grateful for the Seventh Day Baptist National Youth Committee who are committed to raising funds through this project to support widows, orphans, and vulnerable individuals throughout their communities.
