Children’s World Impact seeks to break the cycle of poverty through care and community development aimed specifically at orphans and widows. Care projects for women and children have included providing food, clothing, shelter, education, and income opportunities. Community development projects have included building schools, housing, water purification systems, and medical facilities. Locally, CWI

has now brought Safe Families for Children to southern Wisconsin, helping provide families in crisis, a "Safe Family" for temporary child placement.

The maize grinding operation is in full swing in Malawi. Funding for land acquisition, construction of the building, and purchase and installation of the machinery was provided by CWI. Profits from this business will allow pastors throughout the Central African Conference to support orphans, widows, and vulnerable members of their communities.

What a blessing to be able to continue to finance improvements to Chikanda Primary in Malawi. Major renovations continue to take place on the main classroom block. Now that the roof has been replaced, exterior and interior whitewashing and painting are taking place.

The land purchase is official! Two acres of land are being purchased in the beautiful countryside of Malawi to start a goat rearing project. We are grateful for the Seventh Day Baptist National Youth Committee who are committed to raising funds through this project to support widows, orphans, and vulnerable individuals throughout their communities. CWI is proud to be financing this.
