HotRosters is a digital publishing start-up focused on the Southern California youth baseball community.
We plan to deliver information and resources to Southern California youth baseball players, parents, and coaches who want to:
• Find a team
• Find a private coach or trainer
• Find a tournament
• Find a league
• Find a batting cage
• Find a game
• Find a baseball camp
• Find a collegiate showcase
• Find an Umpire
• Find a field
• And more
In short, HotRosters intends to become the definitive youth baseball resources guide – an “Angie’s List” for Southern California youth baseball.
The company is in start-up mode, aiming to gather as many “listings” as possible over the next several months and execute a formal launch later this summer. In the meantime, we are adding listings and data and developing the site.
Simply follow this link below and complete your free listing if you have a team, club organization, provide lessons and training, rent a facility, or provide any services relevant to youth baseball in the SoCal market.

Editor’s Note
After co-founding and managing one of the oldest club travel teams in Irvine, CA, I have passed the ball off and decided to create a youth baseball resources website for Southern California players, families, and coaches.
HotRosters.com will be a static website with an online database and directory that functions like an “Angie's List” for our SoCal teams, clubs, and organizations, so anyone can access it anytime.
We will also list private coaches and trainers, along with where to find batting cages, umpires, fields, and uniform vendors.
HotRosters will also host a calendar of events, like tournaments, team tryouts, clinics, showcases, and more. We will also post general news about youth baseball, along with advice columns and relevant content.
We will also offer a “Player Portal” to help players find a team at any age or skill level. And we also hope to offer a used equipment sales and exchange area.
As the site begins to take life, I am also hoping to send subscribers an email once or twice each week that sends out (push) upcoming tournaments, clinics, tryouts, etc. for the week. That would then be followed by a weekly e-mail listing as many winners from local tournaments as we can accommodate, along with player highlights.
In general, I plan to make HotRosters the definitive site with the latest SoCal youth baseball news and information you can find.
We also plan to make it a “one post, deploy many” system down the road, where HotRosters.com will plug into all Social Media channels, including Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
Obviously, it will be a major undertaking to make it work, but I will roll up my sleeves and keep pushing the ball down the field until we make HotRosters the main community for SoCal Youth Baseball.
It will take time, and we hope everyone sticks with us as we continue to improve the site and features.
Presently, the site is written in WordPress and uses plug-ins, which is the limit of my capabilities. In the future, I hope to have the site rewritten with a better interface and a more modern look.
I am also open to working with strategic partners, sponsors, site and content developers to make HotRosters a home run!
In the meantime, let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.

Here’s your chance to take your game to the next level and be part of the next generation in youth baseball with Team Leisure.

Led by Nick Lopez (Savannah Bananas – Texas Tailgaters) and D’Andre Smith (NY Mets AA).

Team Leisure promises to deliver pro-level training and a positive culture to the Irvine area.

According to the young co-founders, Team Leisure exists to develop confident, disciplined, and competitive athletes — on and off the field.

Team Leisure will focus on elite baseball training while teaching life skills that last far beyond the game.

Team Leisure’s core values include:

· Development over results

· Discipline, accountability, and effort

· Team-first mindset

· Character, leadership, and respect

· Confidence built through preparation

· Enjoy the game — play with passion

Team Leisure's founders and coaches note that they are not just coaching teams; they aim to build a “community” of players, parents, coaches, and sponsors to deliver a comprehensive approach to coaching and help young players reach the next level in their development.

From the start, Team Leisure has signed several top brands to be part of their community in 2026, starting with:

· EvoShield

· Wilson

· Louisville Slugger

· Baseball Monkey

· Leisure Hydration

· Randy’s Donuts

“These partnerships aren’t just logos — they represent trust, alignment, and a shared commitment to developing young athletes the right way,” Co-Founder/Coach Nick Lopez notes.

Though 11U and 12U teams will be based in the Irvine area, initial tryouts will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, January 4, on the JV field at Foothill High School, 19251 Dodge Ave, Santa Ana. All players need shorts/T-shirt, glove, cleats, and bat for the tryout.

Lopez said he expects the team to have two practices each week, one of which includes conditioning.

They will also conduct team activities sponsored by Randy’s Donuts on Saturdays to provide “a time for good players to be around good coaches that know what it takes to get to the next level – what it takes to be a good teammate.”
