πŸ“’They are the glue that helps hold Celebrate Recovery Global together.

One of Pastor John Baker's favorite reminders was that our CR Reps and Advocates are the glue of Celebrate Recovery.

They serve faithfully behind the scenes. They encourage local leaders, support ministries, build relationships, answer questions, train others, and help share the message of hope throughout their regions.

Most people will never see all they do, but God does.

Celebrate Recovery began as a 12-Step, Christ-centered ministry, and by God's grace it has grown into a worldwide movement, not because of any one person, but because Jesus Christ continues to lead the way.

As Jesus said:
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
β€” John 15:5 (NIV)

We are incredibly grateful for every CR Rep, every Advocate, every Ministry Leader, every volunteer, and every member of our Forever Family. Your servant hearts help carry the message of hope to people around the world.

Most of all, we thank Jesus Christ, our one and only Higher Power, for leading this ministry every step of the way.

❀️ Let's show them some love!

If a CR Rep or Advocate has encouraged, mentored, or impacted your recovery journey, tag them in the comments or leave them a word of appreciation. We'd love to celebrate these faithful servants together.

We wanted to highlight our amazing Celebrate Recovery Global CR Reps & Advocates!

We know it's hard to fit everyone in one picture, but we wanted to acknowledge the Glue of Celebrate Recovery. These amazing volunteers will work alongside with you in regards to your local Celebrate Recovery ministry, and our Advocates would love to partner with you and show you the different ministries within Celebrate Recovery!

πŸ™ God never wastes a hurt.

That's one of the most powerful truths shared by Pastor John Baker, founder of Celebrate Recovery.

The pain you've experienced... The mistakes you've made... The seasons you wish never happened...

None of them are beyond God's redemption.

What the enemy meant for harm, God can use for healing. Your hurts can become hope. Your scars can become a testimony. And your story can point someone else to Jesus Christ.

As Romans 8:28 reminds us:

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." (NIV)

If you're walking through a difficult season today, don't lose hope. God is still at work even when you can't yet see the outcome.

❀️ Question for our Forever Family:

Looking back, how has God used one of your hurts for His glory or to help someone else?

Share your story in the comments. Your testimony may be the encouragement someone needs today.

🌿 AUGUST is a Fresh Start. 🌿

A new month is a reminder that God's mercies are new every morning and His grace is sufficient for every step of our recovery journey.

Whether you're just beginning, returning after being away, or continuing to walk faithfully, August is another opportunity to grow closer to Christ and experience the freedom He offers.

Here's our August Challenge:

A – Accept God's grace one day at a time.
U – Understand you were never meant to recover alone.
G – Grow through honesty, not perfection.
U – Use your story to encourage someone else.
S – Surrender what you cannot control.
T – Trust Jesus with every step of your recovery.

Recovery isn't about having a perfect pastβ€”it's about taking the next faithful step with Jesus today.

πŸ“– "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
β€” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

πŸ™ Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of a new month and a fresh start. Help us to walk in honesty, surrender our fears, trust You completely, and extend Your grace to others. Strengthen us to take the next right step each day, knowing You are with us through every victory and every struggle. Continue transforming our hearts and drawing us closer to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

βž•πŸ™ŒπŸ½β€οΈ If you're looking for hope and healing, we invite you to join a Celebrate Recovery meeting near you.

Summit Recap: Prayer moments!

During this year's Summit, we had an opportunity to pray over our Forever Family during Jeni Baker's Main Stage Summit Talk!

Seeing the response was overwhelming and heartfelt. It was another reminder of how we get to do this, but also that you never know what someone is going through until they ask for Prayer. God met us all there at that moment. We prayed then, and we continue to pray today!

In fact, today is the first of the month!
How can we pray for you?
What's on your heart?

Father God, will be lifting everyone who is scrolling through our post. Father God, we ask not only for the hedge of protection for everyone, but also for you to continue to create these divine appointments. Continue to use us for your glory. We want to share not only who Jesus Christ is, but we want to show others through you, Father God, how people can experience Hope and Healing from our Hurts, Hang-ups, and Habits. We love you, God, and we pray all of this in your precious Son, Jesus Christ's, mighty name. Amen.

We love you all, Forever Family!

πŸ“’ You don't have to clean yourself up before you come to God.

You come to God so He can begin the work in you.

One of the most powerful moments from the 2026 Celebrate Recovery Summit came from Hosanna Wong, who reminded us of a truth so many people need to hear:

"So many of us have believed the lie that we have to get all of our lives together before we can have a real encounter with God."

The Gospel tells a different story.

Jesus doesn't wait for us to become perfect before He welcomes us. He meets us in our brokenness, our hurts, our hang-ups, and our habits. He invites us to come just as we are and trust Him to transform us from the inside out.

As Jesus said:

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
β€” Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

You don't have to earn God's love. You don't have to hide your struggles. You don't have to pretend everything is okay.

You need to come to Jesus.

❓️Question for our Forever Family:

What changed in your life when you stopped trying to fix yourself first and surrendered everything to Jesus?

We'd love to hear your story in the comments. Your testimony could encourage someone who needs hope today.
