A warm welcome to our newest board member, David Calfee! 💚🐾
David brings over 40 years of experience in management and strategic consulting to the Paws for Patrick Board. He began his consulting career at McKinsey & Company before becoming a founding member and partner at Bridge Strategy Group, a leading management consultancy later acquired by Houlihan Lokey, where he served as Managing Director prior to his retirement. Before his consulting career, David practiced corporate and securities law as an attorney in Chicago for seven years.
Since retiring, David has dedicated his time and expertise to supporting nonprofit organizations through leadership and board service. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Service to School, helping military veterans transition into higher education, and previously served as a director at Beacon Place in Waukegan, Illinois.
A lifelong dog lover, David is passionate about canine welfare and the powerful bond between humans and animals. Outside of his work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, their two Cavalier King Charles spaniels, and his seven grandchildren. He also loves singing with the Northwest Choral Society and playing golf.
