What began in 2016 transformed into a 501(c)3 non profit organization in 2019. Built by women, we lay the foundation for future generations. In 2022, we have a vision of raising funds to secure the land/building project. We believe in the power of cultivating authentic relationships and sharing our passion with others. As a community partner you gain access to a secure and verified network that offers support and accountability. LNWB provides an organized activity calendar that is centered around the four pillars of health: Mental, Physical, Social and Spiritual. With this comes opportunity for personal development and ability to build your social network through various workshops and seasonal challenges offered through the Mentorship program. LNWB is a welcoming, judgement free community that promotes passion with purpose for individual growth by meeting you where you are. Leave No Woman Behind has been an incredible healing journey for me. It began as a way to process the grief and trauma of losing both my parents, while simultaneously finding forgiveness and healing. This journey also connected me with an amazing community of people facing similar life challenges. My late husband, Jay, was instrumental in my healing, showing me the true meaning of love and helping me share that love with others. Leave No Woman Behind was a dream we shared, and I’m so grateful that this vision, planted in 2016 and nurtured in 2019, will continue to grow in 2025 and beyond. www.lnwbmembership.org

Big changes are happening! As of January 23, 2025, I resigned as CEO of Leave No Woman Behind to pursue a new path. The organization is in capable hands, with dedicated women who have been impacted by its work now leading the way. You’ll see some changes to the website and social media as they begin to restructure, but don’t worry! Registered members will still be connected with relevant content.

You will also notice the name change to
Let The Day Begin. This page will return to being a personal outlet focusing on – Act 2. Widowhood has brought immense challenges and shifts in perspective, and I’m navigating this new terrain of raising my young children alone all while rediscovering myself.
