Angel Fitzgerald, the heart and inspiration behind Lucky Chi Dog Rescue, was our very first little Chi. His life sparked a journey that would ultimately lead to thousands of dogs and other animal friends being rescued, loved, and given a second chance.

This July, after 17 beautiful years, we said goodbye to our sweet Angel. His impact on our family is impossible to put into words. He brought us hope, healing, unconditional love, and ultimately inspired a legacy of compassion that reached far beyond our own home.

Life will never be quite the same without his spunky, feisty personality and loving presence. But Angel’s legacy will live on in our family and in every life that was saved because of the journey he inspired.

Rest peacefully, my sweet Angel. 🤍 You may have been one little dog, but the love you brought into this world changed thousands of lives. 🐾

A great day with Marie Antoinette, as she came by to pay us a visit!🐾 She’s living her best life with her doggie sibling—wandering the yard, sniffing everything, enjoying snacks, and taking plenty of naps. 💕✨ Needless to say, this little lady is living her best life and we couldn’t be happier 🥰

One year ago, we opened our clinic doors with a simple mission: to make high-quality spay & neuter care more accessible to homeless, unowned and fostered dogs and cats in the community.

Today, we’re celebrating 1,396 surgeries and counting! 🐾❤️

Behind every surgery is a dedicated team, led by Dr. Robertson, set on making a difference. We’re so grateful to everyone who has supported our mission, and helped us make this first year so special.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA: Meet Slinky 🐾🐶 A tiny, apple head chihuahua with a heart of gold 💛 This boy loves everything about playtime (especially his toys) but loves to snuggle just as much. Found neglected in the shelter and now healthy, loving life and ready for a home. 🏠

UPDATE: Meet & Greet Scheduled!!

LAKE ELSINORE, CA: Jolene came to us from the shelter and is now looking for a patient, loving home. 🏡 She’s still very timid but is gaining confidence every day as she learns to walk on a leash and become comfortable being picked up. 🐶

She is still healing from her recent spay, but will soon be ready to join a family who will let her move at her own pace. Currently sifting through applications! 🐾
