This Unit along with hundreds across the Nation focuses on character building, leadership, and promotes a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

Today we had Deputy Sanders from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department come speak to our Young Marines about drug addiction, how it affects you mentally and physically, and how to avoid peer pressure and bullying.

These lessons are part of the core values and foundations that the Young Marines organization stands by. It was an incredibly impactful and informative class.

We truly appreciate you, Deputy Sanders, for taking the time to invest in our youth.

Today, groups collaborated to design egg-drop cages for raw eggs, showcasing teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. They also practiced clear, precise communication by giving step-by-step instructions to make the “perfect” PB&J sandwich, reinforcing skills learned in their communication class.
