CALIENTE TRACK CLOSING
Racing is ending at the Caliente Race Track in the month of July. Local California greyhound groups are working together along with the track and the National Greyhound Association (NGA) to get the greyhounds out and into adoption groups. All of us have one goal; the welfare of the greyhounds. The greyhounds come first. Everything is and will be done to make sure the hounds in Mexico will be cared for until the last greyhound leaves the track.
If you believe you can help by fostering and/or adopting a greyhound, now is the time to reach out. Plans are ongoing and the situation is fluid. We are all working together. While our kennel is closed, I continue to oversee all of the remaining GAC greyhounds and work together with other greyhound groups.
