Hello Lake Jane homeowners. We had a delineation done on the lake which shows where the largest areas of milfoil are on the lake. On Wednesday, weather permitting, the lake will be treated for milfoil. This is just a one year treatment . The areas identified for treatment were the north area, the southeast corner and the west end of the lake. This is where the largest amounts of milfoil are.

We are planning for a whole lake treatment of the lake this fall that will hopefully treat the milfoil for 2-3 years.

shorelines that were treated by PLM will be surveyed on Wednesday to determine effectiveness and the 2nd treatment may be administered at that time.

Any questions can be directed to any of your LJA board members.

Hello Lake Jane homeowners! Well spring has taken a long time to get here, but the weeds seem to have enjoyed the cool weather. We are planning to treat the lake for the milfoil next week. You should be getting more information from the LJA. We will also be treating the lakeshore for those that signed up for shoreline treatment with PLM. We hope this will allow all of us to have fewer weeds on our shoreline and less invasives ( milfoil )throughout the lake.
