Five years ago, a group of community leaders had a vision to create a community organization that would help organize large events, host an online events calendar for Lake Elmo, and support local businesses and organizations to engage with our community. What a magical evening! Light Up Lake Elmo is described by many, as the perfect setting for a small town Hallmark movie. Community, simple joys, smiles, and holiday festivity. This is what it is all about!

ROAD CLOSURES & PARKING:

Volunteers Needed!
Just a few more days until we kick off the season with Light Up Lake Elmo! To make this event happen, we need a few more volunteers to help our event team. You will still be close to the festivities on Main Street, but we need helpers for crowd direction and parking/route closure questions. Please consider volunteering for a 1.5-hour shift (2:30-4pm or 4-5:30 pm)!

It's that time of year again! Our charming, small-town tree lighting ceremony is on Dec 6th at 4:15. Santa will roll in on a firetruck, surely making the evening magical for our community. Lake Elmo Ave will be closed from 3-5 pm around the event area, so come early to stroll along Main Street. More details will be posted in the next few days!
