On February 14th we went up to in Clyde Casper Nursing Home for Veterans in Bonham, Texas. We delivered “goodie bags” to the residents there (150). They were well received. It was a project that many people worked on. Thank you to all involved, special thanks to Tami Whitaker - Valetines, Michelle Warren - combs, toothbrushes, Marchelle Coutas- Granola Bars, Becki Roser - Bags, Toni Duy- Lip Balm, 1/2 Toothpaste,1/2 pens , Toyota of Denton - 1/2 pens, Fitch Family - 1/2 toothpaste, Jill Schuerman -Eye Glass Holders. VFW Post #10460 cash along with money donated from patrons we were able to bring many smiles to the residents there.

The Auxiliary will be celebrating with cookies on Friday Night, December 20th for the 5th celebration of the Space Force’s Birthday.
“Established on Dec. 20, 2019, when the National Defense Authorization Act was signed into law, the United States Space Force (USSF) became a separate and distinct branch of the armed services. Responsible for organizing, training and equipping its members to conduct global space operations, USSF is organized under the Department of the Air Force much like the Marine Corps falls under the Department of the Navy. Guardians who wear the Space Force uniform integrate with the rest of the joint force in worldwide operations, protect our nation’s satellites above and space capabilities below from any threat, and strive to gain superiority of Earth’s orbit and beyond.
Please join the more than 1.4 million members of the VFW and its Auxiliary in saying “thank you” and “happy birthday” to every American Guardian who defends the domain of space – freedom’s final frontier.” (copied from VFW website)

We had Auxiliary Members and Friends, Becki Roser, Toni Duy, Courtney Warren, Marchelle Coultas and Michelle Warren, Phil Duy and Mike Gagnon out at the Wreaths Across America Event. It was a nice ceremony and beautiul day to lay wreaths.
