Happy Halloween Lake City! 🎃 Celebrate tonight with us from 5 to 7 pm for a community event full of fun and festivities!

👻 A Trunk-or-Treat competition (vote for the best display!)
🚜 Hay rides for all ages
☕ Spooky punch, hot chocolate, and hot dogs to keep you warm
📰 The event will even be featured in the newspaper!

Costumes are encouraged (but not required).
Come join the fun and make some Halloween memories at our fabulous museum! 🎃

On behalf of all of us here at Hinsdale County Museum, thank you to everyone who attended our 2025 season! Across various events, lectures and tours we cannot express our gratitude for your support. Please join us this Sunday September 28 for our final day of the season. We’re hosting a free admission day so bring the whole family.

This Friday September 26th, we’re having our final Ghost Tour of the season! As always tickets are $5 for children under 10 and $15 for adults. This tour begins at 7:30, but please arrive before to buy tickets in advance. Link to tickets is available below.

Here’s what’s happening tomorrow here at the museum! Grant Houston is hosting the last Town Walking History tour of the year at 2pm! And of course, we’ll be hosting our Friday night Ghost Tour with Jesse Kendell! Ticket sales begin as early as 6:45pm! We hope to see you there! Tickets available on our website or here on Facebook!!
