“It is with gratitude and excitement that I share the news that I have shifted my role at Title Track from Co-executive Director to Creative Director!

When we started this organization, part of the design plan from the beginning was for me to begin as Director and then over time to build shared power, serving with other co-Directors, and then eventually to shift to a staff role, then a board member and eventually becoming a volunteer. Founder syndrome is real and Title Track will not suffer from it on my account.

Having shared Directorship with Holly T. Bird and Jenny Jones for a couple of years, I am hopeful that this boat will not only stay afloat, but will be reaching new levels of impact and excellence with Jenny Jones at the helm as our Executive Director. In my new role, I can play to my strengths and weave with my vocation as an artist moving forward. This was always part of the plan, and now it has become a reality!

As Creative Director, I intend to continue to contribute deeply to Title Track’s mission and to advance our shared goals. I intend to continue to help run programs and raise money to advance this work, and I intend to foster generative artistic partnerships to expand our collective reach and impact.

I will also be working on new projects and programs at Earthwork Farm where I was born and raised and where we hosted Earthwork Harvest Gathering! Look out for some exciting collaborations with Title Track as our partnership with Earthwork Farm extends into the future. As I continue to steward the land that raised me, and work hard to take the farm into it’s next phase as a community center, I am grateful to remain deeply connected to Title Track and to have opportunities for these projects to overlap and amplify one another in mutually beneficial ways.

As we face the increasingly dire consequences of institutional violence and living under extractive systems that don’t uplift working class people or protect our environment, the work of organizations like Title Track becomes more valuable. There is no limit to what we can do together, and I am grateful to be able to face the future with you all as Title Track’s Creative Director.”

Onward, -Seth Bernard

“It’s hard to make space, but for me, I think it’s the greatest gift a woman can give herself. It’s a gift because we finally can just stop all the roles we play in our lives - the taking care of others, putting other’s needs first...
It’s almost like you show up to a retreat as a human do-er, and you leave as a human being again. In a way, you remember who you really are again, which is connected - to everything.”

Come join a circle of women in a safe space free of distractions for a weekend of fun, clarity, growth, and healing. When women gather in this way, empowerment happens! With one another’s unconditional support, our authentic selves can emerge and guide us closer toward the life we are here to live, one in line with our values, our heart, and our purpose.

Throughout our weekend together we seek to connect with one another, the Earth, and our inner selves through “whole-body” participation – sharing our stories, listening deeply to other’s experiences, spending focused time in nature, indulging in something creative, lightly facilitated group discussions, perhaps guided meditation and movement, readings, journaling, and in stillness amongst the trees. Imagine having uninterrupted time to share your own story, knowing you will be heard and honored. It is a rare gift we can give ourselves, as well as listening deeply to others by simply bearing witness to their experience, free from giving advice or “fixing.”

While the invitation is open to participate in all activities, you ultimately get to choose. What is most important is to listen to yourself and honor what you are ready for. Anything shared during Women’s Retreat is shared with confidence – what is shared here, stays here! This is a trans-inclusive retreat!
