On Saturday, April 24th, Ed’s memorial service begins at 3pm at the American Legion. Food will be available after the memorial.
As for our meeting on Monday, the 19th, it will be at the usual time ( 7pm ) and you must bring your own drink ( no alcohol ) because the Post is still closed. Please do not be late as elections will be held. See you all then.

Due to circumstances way beyond the Auxiliaries control, our Bluegrass & BBQ fundraiser event scheduled for March 27th, at our Post, is postponed. We’re now hoping to have it April 24th. I’ll let you know as soon as possible. Thanks.

Jackie, our Sr. Vice, has come up with a great idea for (once a month for now) Thursday night dinners. Every second Thursday of the month, the Aux will host a dinner. Hope you come out and enjoy the fun. Dinners will be limited so please come early. Theres a lot more great things coming to the post from its Auxiliary very soon! Volunteers are greatly appreciated!

Just a reminder, Monday August 17th, is meeting night at Jimmie Vessels VFW Post 2206 @ 7. However, the Auxiliary will be holding their meeting at Beef Obrady‘s in the private room in the back. Our meeting will start at 7 PM but if you would like to join us sooner, we will be there by 5:30 to eat and have a few drinks. if the post is open for regular business, the Auxiliary will have the meeting at the post instead. Please let everyone know. Thank you!

To the active members of the Jimmie Vessels Post 2206, the Auxiliary and our friends of the Post, please let me know how you all are doing. If you’re having problems during this time, please either message me, text me or call me. Either way, please let me know how you are doing. Leave a comment if you and your family are doing okay. In times like these, we all can get intertwined and forget about one another. Again, if you’re in need of help, let me know and I’ll see what the Auxiliary can do. If your a post member, you can either contact Emily or contact me and I’ll get ahold of her.
If we all work together, we can all hopefully come through this without the extra stress. If you have extras of something that someone else needs, let’s work together and fix the situation. Hope you all are doing well.
