Here's a little bit of everything from the October meeting. and what a fun meeting it was. The "Baslet ,meeting" is a meeting you don't want to miss. Wonderful "things" in the baskets that could be yours. And, then there is always Lonnies wonderful Coconut Cake that could also be yours..

All and all it was a fun and exciting day. More for some than for others!😂 And if you sit by Lonnie expect some fun play!🤣

Shared from the Live Oak Artist's Guild. Our own Glenda Pennock's "Reflection of the Past" is a colored pencil that won 3rd place in drawing.

The judge commended that the cataegory was difficult to judge as there was so much talent (Right here in our own backyard) Congrats Glinda and All of our artists who submitted a piece!

Thank you Elizabeth Reiney for standing in for me and taking all the pictures of the August meeting. Show and tell was outstanding, looking at all the pictures and I'm sure the Teddy Pruitt's program was wonderfull as usual. Sorry that I missed it but was out of town. She is so talented that it is beyond belief.

July 2024 Guiild meeting. We just keep growing and sharing all the work that we do.
This includes show and tell, spotlight, and round tuit (?0 I think. A;sp some sharing from the shop bag class.Always outstanding work by our members......so much talent.

Sit ‘n Sew was really fun, with everyone happy to see each other, and so many pretty projects being worked on! About 19 people showed up: some stayed the day, some just stopped in for a short visit. We’d love to see you next time! Second Wednesday of the month, 9-2.

This i s a message from Elizabeth Rainey who graciously sent me the pictures of Sit and Sew. She is really at her job of being in charge of Sit and Sew AND taking and sending me all the pictures that I never manage to get there to take.

Sit and Sew was busy again this past Wednesday........a lot of good work going on. What a place and time to enjoy each other and get to know all of those you don't have time to meet at a general meeting. So much fun!🥰

This was sent my Merri McKenzie earlier this week. Please keep Celeste Beck and family in your thoughts and prayers.

It is with a heavy heart that I let you know that my sisters husband, Steve Beck passed away unexpectedly this afternoon from a heart attack. I was there with her while we waited for the coroner and the funeral home. It was a peaceful passing of his spirit from this world.

The Challenge for the Quilt Guild this year was to make a quilted Greeting Card and the members did not fail. They were all so clever and certainly showed the cleverness of our participating members. Here the individual entrants.
