Sharing With People at Work: When Paul arrives in Corinth, he goes to work as a tentmaker with another couple who would later come to faith and become influential leaders in the early church. Paul must have been listening to the Holy Spirit to discern how God was working in the people around him.
Have you ever considered that you are strategically located by God in your job to be salt and light in that place? What does salt and light look like in your work place and how might you share your love for Christ in it?

The Current June Pond Night: Wednesday, June 10, 6:30pm: Our first Pond Night is right around the corner! All 7th—12th grade students are welcome at the VanderWeide Pond, 2950 N. Lucas Rd., Manton. Community meal at 6;30pm followed by gospel sharing, testimonies, and prayer and of course, swimming! Bring a side drink or dessert to share plus your swim gear (swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, water bottle). Contact Wes at [email protected].

Only 2 weeks to go for our first event: Rainforest Falls VBS!! We're so excited!!! We are currently placing registered kids into their crew groups. We are doing our best to honor friend requests, but If your child would like to be placed with a friend or specific crew leader, please make sure they are registered by Tuesday, June 9. After that date, it becomes more difficult to accommodate friend requests as we finalize crew assignments, train volunteers, and prepare materials based on our registration numbers.

Our online registration closes at noon on Wednesday, June 17. Walk in registrations are still welcome on June 22-25, however it makes those mornings more challenging as we try to find an open crew.

All four days are completely free, including a t-shirt (while supplies last), and lunch for the whole family on June 25. All of our volunteers are background checked and referenced check to do our best to make this a great week for your kids. Hope to see you all soon.

When was the last time you were torn up inside because of people’s idols or from seeing those who are far from God? The sight in Athens so ‘greatly distressed’ Paul that he looked for common ground, for ways to engage people in conversation. He went to the synagogue, to Walmart (the marketplace), to the places where people met to discuss and debate the latest ideas (the coffee shop?), all in an attempt to engage in conversations about Jesus. Paul genuinely cared about people who were far from God. Where might you find common ground to have conversations with others about Jesus? How might you love others into the Kingdom?

Our Rainforest Falls VBS team would love to borrow your rainforest stuffed (and plastic) animals, as well as large (preferably artificial) plants for VBS this year. If you have some to lend, please label them clearly, and bring to church by June 15.
