Does anyone like to watch horses in a parade?
Western Days rodeo & parade are one of the great days in Lake City. If you have a horse and can join us for the parade, we would welcome more riders.

Parade Practice - meet at saddle club grounds at 6:30 pm on Friday, June 26. We will ride 10-12 blocks to help everyone feel comfortable on the street
Saturday June 27. Line up - 10:30. Across from the drive in on the west the side.

Update the meeting will be held at the saddle club grounds tonight!

Are you looking to get involved in the community or have a love for horses/rodeos? We have some opportunities for you to help us with the upcoming rodeo!

Our next monthly meeting will be Thursday, June 11, 7pm at the Lake City Library. Join us to make plans and get involved. If you would like to help out, there will be work nights during the week before the rodeo. Help is always welcome!

This will be the final meeting before the rodeo.

New this year.. Mutton Busting!! Mutton Busting creates lifelong memories, and for many kids, it’s their first taste of rodeo life.

The Mutton Busting will be on Sunday, June 28th starting at 4:30 pm. Please be there at 4 pm so we can get everyone checked in. At the time of check in you will be required to sign a liability waiver. There is a 70lb weight limit. We will not be providing helmets or vests. If you have one you are more than welcome to bring it! We will only be taking 50 entries, so sign up soon to claim your kids spot!

The Rules of the Ride
The goal of Mutton Busting is simple: hold on tight! Each child is sat on the back of a sheep, and with a bit of courage, they hold onto the sheep’s back while the animal takes them on a short, fun ride across the arena.
