It is an international organization designed to come alongside mothers of young children to encourage, equip and help them develop into the best mothers that God intended them to be! MOPS is a group for moms of all different backgrounds — stay-at-home, working, single and married. If you are expecting the arrival of a child or are currently the mother of a child (birth through kindergarten) then M

OPS is for you! A typical meeting includes a time to socialize and build relationships during a delicious breakfast. There will be a speaker or video that gives practical tools and insight into the specific things that are important to you as a mother of young children. You will meet a Mentor Mom who has been through it all and has great advice and a willing ear. We moms need each other - and at each meeting there will be time to get to know other moms in an accepting small group atmosphere. We like to try new things and be creative, so there will often be an opportunity to be creative if you so choose. The childcare program is more than just a drop off babysitter - We call it MOPS Kids, and it is an excellent program staffed by trained teachers who will nurture your kids in a preschool-like environment. With our year and Touch a Truck wrapped up we thought we would share the big news and introduce our new name…

MOPS International is now the The MomCo by MOPS International.

Our local group is changing our name to The MomCo Lake City! We are still the same loving and welcoming group, just with a new name. We still think motherhood is a teamsport and we want to be a part of your village 🌻

We want to say a HUGE thank you to all of you who made it out to Touch a Truck yesterday!! We want to thank all of you for making it such a fun day!

Thank you to Rogers Grocery, L&J Meat Market and 2 the Moon Bakery for providing lunch to all of our participants.

WHAT IS MOPS? MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS is a group for moms of all different backgrounds — stay-at-home, working, single and married. If you are expecting the arrival of a child or are currently the mother of a child (birth through kindergarten) then MOPS is for you!

AND WHAT ABOUT MOMSnext? When we’re past the diaper years and sleeping through the night … When we’re meeting more emotional needs than physical ones … When we’re caught between our children needing us and not … it’s time for MOMSnext.

MOMSnext is a community of moms with kids past the preschool years. It is a division of MOPS International but is meant to meet the needs of the mother of school-aged children. We are at a place in life where we can ask? What’s my "next?" MOMSnext will shape you, ground you, teach you and encourage you.

Unlike MOPS groups where moms are newly in the throes of motherhood, MOMSnext moms are in the rhythm of parenting. However as their children grow, they are encountering new and specific parenting challenges. Despite the overload of information accessible to them, sometimes we need a reliable place to turn to get answers or just a sounding board - a place to throw ideas around with trusted moms who are walking alongside us. In this stage, moms also have a new ability to lift their heads and see the broader world around them. They are in a phase of personal growth where they may have more freedom to pursue professional or personal interests now that their kids are older.
