Who We Are

• Project Canefire is a Christian Faith based organization established in 1989 through Friends Ministry in Lake City, MI.. Project Canefire
• Since 1989 this organization has been providing wells and constructing buildings.
• During each trip, the teams spend time doing mission work in the villages, providing the local people with: bibles, clothi

ng and educational materials...
• The organizations primary focus is the Dominican Republic, but has also been serving others in the Caribbean and Central America.
• We have seen the need and understand the requirements of getting clean water and education to the people of the Dominican Republic. It is our desire to continue our efforts there and expand our outreach to areas around the world.

The sewing team 🪡 This ministry donates sewing machines and teaches individuals how to sew. The team will also check on machines donated from previous years to make sure they are working properly. It's neat to go back to some areas and see what projects these men and women are working on!

The work continues in the DR! The group has divided into teams for building new wells and well maintenance, there's a construction team, and ladies who are giving sewing lessons with donated machines. Please pray this work can be a blessing to all those involved!
