Our friends at the Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Michigan in Traverse City are offering a new and FREE program called PEARLS. The intention is to help you or a loved one find support through the emotional ups and downs that often come with aging.

Life changes as we get older, and sometimes those changes are hard. Loss, health challenges, or growing isolation can leave us feeling down, lonely, anxious, or simply not like ourselves. PEARLS pairs you (or your loved one) with a trained coach who helps you learn simple, practical ways to manage those tough emotions and feel more like yourself again.

You don't need a depression diagnosis to participate

It's built around small, manageable steps over 6–8 individual visits

It focuses on adding more of the activities you enjoy back into your life. You can click to follow the link or contact them directly.

If you or someone you know could use a little extra support, AAANM would love to hear from you.

Call (231) 947-8920 or (800) 442-1713, or email [email protected].

Happy Summer!

💙

With the support of a trained PEARLS coach, you’ll learn simple, practical skills to manage tough emotions and improve your quality of life
