The American Legion Post 57, of Lake City, FL is NOT doing a Toy Run for Toys for Tots. These boxes are NOT for Toys for Tots.
Post 57 is doing a Toy Run for Voices for Children which covers the entire 3rd Distrist, 7 counties.
Just give with your heart and always, give wisely.

The turnout for the 1st Annual Toys for Tots Duck Race was better than I expected, all things considered. Like the change of venue 48 hours before our event due to childlike behavior on the owners behalf. Thanks to the Perry Family, who not only volunteered but they ere able to secure the Alton Church of God for our venue. In the blink of a eye it was done and even the Pastor was there. Thank you all, with my all.
Both Columbia and Lafayette County Sheriff Offices were on hand and in the water to make sure there were no Duck tragedies! Job well done by all and so very much appreciated. Thank you, Sheriff Kitchings and Sheriff Lamb for all your assistance. I will get you next year's date as soon as possible!
My greatest thanks ho to the donors. Lafayette County, you spanked everyone on this, again. 1 donation from Columbia County and 1 from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Little Mayo carried two counties. And this was our largest fundraiser for Christmas 2025. Thank you, Lafayette County and the people who worked so selflessly to raise money for our area kids.
To all my volunteers, who silently...okay, some not so silently, hate my rubber ducks, water, kayaks, and, yes, me...I can't wait until next year!! Maybe by then, this will all be a distant memory! Thank you all!
To Logan Thompson, great job! Just a young man with his guitar. Great entertainment for 3 hours and I would suggest you to anybody.

Annita Leonard you left Suwannee County for the day to watch my tables so I could mingle. You and I always do!

Hi all,
On August 30th, 2025, at 9 am...yes, that is the morning, at Rendezvous RV and Resort, Toys for Tots is doing their 1st Annual Toys for Tots Duck Race. Rubber duckies...just saying, for a friend. The ducks are adopted for 5.00 each and I have corporate packages that go up to 1700 ducks, 500 free ducks, and 5 Mega Ducks. This Floating Flotilla of Fowl is 5,000 with every cent going to Christmas for Columbia and Lafayette Counties. Last year, 12,334 children had a Christmas because people cared enough to see past where they are in life and see that together we can make some of the simplest dreams come true.we have some great prizes, with more coming. Please be a part of something wonderful on a child's life. Join us. Ducks will not be available for adoption to race the day of the race. Thank you and if you need more info just message me! Toys for Tots of Lake City, FL., which includes all of Columbia and Lafayette Counties is holding their First Annual Duck Race on August 30th at 9:00am at the Rendezvous Resort and RV Park in Mayo, Florida. Prizes are sweet! If you are interested in purchasing a duck or a duck package please call me at 386.438.9888 and we will make sure your duck/ducks has been marked correctly and ready to race.
