🚨🦸‍♂️ CALLING ALL SUPERHEROES! 🦸‍♀️🚨

This Saturday, October 17, it's SUPERHERO DAY at Trinity Upward! 💥

We're trading ordinary Saturdays for EXTRAORDINARY fun!

⚡ Athletes, wear your favorite superhero gear!

🦸 Coaches, we want to see those capes!

💪 Parents, don't think you're getting out of this one!

Whether you're rocking a Superman shirt, a Spider-Man mask, or your very own superhero creation, we want to see YOUR superpowers on display!

🏈 FLAG FOOTBALL
⚽ SOCCER
📣 CHEER

And remember, you don't need a cape to be somebody's hero. Sometimes all it takes is encouragement, kindness, and showing up for someone else. 💙💛

📅 Saturday, October 17
📍 Trinity Upward | Trinity Center

SUIT UP, UPWARD FAMILY! 🐊💥

👇 Tell us: WHO'S YOUR FAVORITE SUPERHERO?

Our favorite part of practice: Devotion Time.

For a few minutes every practice, the balls stop rolling, the plays can wait, and our teams circle up.

Because as much as we love soccer, flag football and cheer, we believe there’s something bigger happening here.

Our coaches get the opportunity each week to encourage these kids, open God’s Word with them, pray with them and remind them that who they are becoming matters even more than the player they are becoming.

These few minutes are part of The Bigger Win.
Coaches, thank you for making them matter. 🙌

People First. Excellence Always. Jesus Above All.

OPENING DAY. 💙💛

Saturday morning, these fields came alive.

Footballs were flying. ⚡ Soccer balls were rolling. ⚽ Cheerleaders were cheering. 📣 Families filled the sidelines. Coaches poured into kids. Teammates competed, encouraged one another, laughed together and made memories.

And this is only Week 1.

Because at Trinity Upward Sports, we love the games, but we're after something even bigger.

We want kids to grow in confidence and character.
We want coaches who care about the person wearing the jersey.
We want families to know they're seen, welcomed and valued.
And above everything, we want to use sports to point people toward Jesus.

That's The Bigger Win.

Thank you to every coach, referee, volunteer, Team Champion, parent, grandparent and player who made Opening Day happen.

One Saturday down. Six more to go.

Let's keep playing for something bigger. 🐊

🚨🏈⚽📣 FOUR. MORE. DAYS.

Upward families… IT’S GAME DAY WEEK. 🔥

Four days until the jerseys are worn.
Four days until the sidelines fill up.
Four days until the first whistle blows.
Four days until somebody realizes they left the water bottle at home. 😂

GAME DAY #1 • SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19

Practices are happening. Coaches are getting ready. Fields are coming together. And pretty soon, hundreds of kids will get to do what we’ve been preparing for...

PLAY. 🙌

We cannot wait to welcome you to the first Game Day of the season. 💙💛

👀 Tomorrow: we’re giving you the Game Day survival guide.

“Wait… what color are we wearing?!”

Let’s NOT have that conversation five minutes before kickoff. 😂

Every team received its Team Page today, and tucked inside all that glorious information is something your Saturday-morning brain will appreciate:

👉 Your jersey color for EVERY Game Day.

So do Future You a favor:

⭐ Save/bookmark your Team Page
📅 Check your game time
📍 Check your field
👕 CHECK. YOUR. JERSEY. COLOR.

Because nothing says Game Day quite like pulling into Trinity and hearing:

“MOM/DAD… EVERYBODY ELSE IS WEARING BLUE.” 😳😂

Okay, Upward families. No cheating.

👇 Drop your TEAM NAME + your jersey color for Game Day #1 below!

Don’t know? You know where to find it now. 😉💙💛

🏈⚽📣 **Hey Upward families, we're calling an audible!** 💙💛

We love Saturdays on the fields, but let's be real, it's not just about the snacks (although, priorities).

We love cheering on your mini-mes, hanging out with you on the sidelines, and watching friendships blossom like a well-executed play.

But here's the thing: Upward is just one play in the Trinity playbook. So, if you don't have a church home, **we're calling a timeout and inviting you to Trinity this morning!**

No fancy attire required, just bring your crew and your A-game (or not, we won't judge). And, **your Upward kiddos are totes welcome, too!**

9:15am Sunday Morning Bible Study for all ages!
10:45am Worship
📍 Trinity Baptist Church 1800 Country Club Rd. | Lake Charles

Let us know you're coming and we'll meet you at the 50-yard line... err, the door! 💙💛 **See you at Trinity!** 👋

🏈⚽📣 **IT’S SATURDAY… and Saturdays are about to look VERY different around here!** 👀

Before long, these fields will be full of players, coaches, families, high-fives and GAME DAYS again! 💙💛

So while we wait…

🎉 **NAME THAT THEME SATURDAY!** 🎉

We’ve got some fun Theme Saturdays planned for this Upward season, but we want to hear YOUR ideas too!

👇 If you could create ONE Theme Saturday for an Upward Game Day, what would it be?

Crazy Hair Day? 🤪
Favorite Team Day? 🏈
Decades Day? 🕺
Pajama Day? 😴
Something completely ridiculous that we haven't thought of? 😂

**Drop your Theme Saturday idea below!**

Who knows… we might just steal one. 👀

08/21/2026

👀 **Anybody else ready to see these fields FULL again?!**

🏈 Footballs flying.
⚽ Soccer balls rolling.
📣 Cheerleaders cheering.
🙌 Coaches encouraging.
😂 Parents trying to figure out which field they're supposed to be on.

**Upward season is almost here!** 💙💛

Practices begin September 8, and we cannot wait to welcome our Upward families back to Trinity!

But here's what we're most excited about:

Yes, we want kids to learn the game.
Yes, we want them to compete and have FUN.

But even more, we want every child who steps onto our fields this fall to know that they are **seen, loved, valued and created by God for a purpose.**

That's what this is all about.

👇 **UPWARD FAMILIES: Who's ready for the season?!**
