Hello, All Young Jazz Enthusiasts and Parents of 6th to 12th Grade Students!! We are gearing up for another great and fun Summer Youth Jazz Workshop. Students will have the opportunity to learn from professional jazz musicians, learn jazz techniques, improvisation, and enjoy playing with other students. Jazz In The Arts Aluma Mikayla Smith will be joining us to present Jazz Vocal Techniques. The students will get to showcase what they've learned in a closing concert on Saturday, June 6th at 3:00 p.m. The special guest entertainment will be Mikayla and William Smith (daughter and son of Mickey and Eugenia Smith) and Isaiah Windsor and the Last Minute Big Band. We are accepting students in 6th to 12th grades who are interested in learning more about jazz music and having a great time.

Day 1 of Jazz In The Arts Summer Youth Jazz Workshop. These middle and high school students are doing a great job for their first day. Can’t wait for the closing concert Saturday, June 1st at 3pm at Westlake High School Auditorium. The special guest band will be Isaiah Windsor and The Last Big Band. Join us if you can.
