Malta Commandery No. 12 was honored to welcome our Most Worshipful Grand Master of Louisiana and our Right Eminent Grand Commander of Louisiana for our Annual Inspection. It was truly a wonderful and memorable day filled with fellowship, brotherhood, and the shared bonds of our Masonic Fraternity.

We sincerely appreciate their presence, support, and fellowship, which made this occasion especially meaningful. May God continue to bless them, their families, and all who labor together in service to our fraternity and our communities.

Happy Mother’s Day! 🌸

Today, the members of the York Rite of Freemasonry join together to honor the incredible women who have shaped our lives with their strength, wisdom, and unconditional love.

From the lessons of the Craft to the virtues of the Temple, we are reminded that the foundation of every great man is often the grace and guidance of a mother.

To the mothers, grandmothers, and maternal figures in our lives:

we thank you for your devotion and the light you bring to the world.

Wishing a beautiful and blessed day to all mothers!

Embarking upon the York Rite path offers a profound opportunity for any Mason seeking to deepen his understanding of the Craft’s foundational mysteries and historical narratives. By journeying through the degrees of the Chapter, Council, and Commandery, a brother can find the enriching context and spiritual clarity that beautifully complement the lessons learned within the Blue Lodge. This progression is not an advancement in rank, rather a sincere commitment to expanding one’s moral and philosophical horizons, fostering a more complete perspective on the timeless virtues of the fraternity. Exploring these expansive degrees and orders allows a brother to further bridge the gap between ancient tradition and personal growth, ensuring that the light he received at the altar continues to burn with ever-increasing brilliance.

Pastor David Free preaching the good news of the resurrection of the our Blessed Savior.

We always are thankful to him for his sermons.

As we celebrate Easter Sir Knights, let us remember the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior. His resurrection brings with it the full payment of our sins being cleaned and paid for.

Thank you to Habibi Shriners for jointly having this service with us and for the use of the building.

Yours in the Faith,
Dex Downs
