SWLA District Senior Games SWLA District Senior Games are held each year for anyone 50 years old and up.

SWLA Senior Olympics are open to anyone who will be 50 or older by December 31, 2022. Events include: Swimming, Bowling, Golf, Backyard Bass Casting, Accuracy and Distance Throws, Bean Bag Baseball, Putt-Putt, Billiards, Bolo Golf, Dominoes, Shuffleboard, Table Tennis, Horseshoes, Spelling, and Washer Pitch. Due to construction & other reasons the following events will not be held this year, but w

ill resume in 2023: Track & Field, Shooting, & Archery

Good afternoon to all! Happy New Year! We are gearing up and preparing for 2026 Senior Games! Please save the date for the Bean Bag Baseball Captain's meeting. This past week has seen a multitude of events, ending with a celebratory appreciation banquet for the participants and sponsors of the 2025 SWLA District Senior Games. We will be sharing photos, videos, scores, times, and placements throughout the week, so please stay tuned. The Senior Games have been a triumph. Congratulations to the two Senior Olympians of 2025, Ms. Vera Minix and Mr. Istvan “Steve” Pekar.

Friendly reminder, of tomorrow's SWLA District Senior Games banquet, Saturday, April 12th from 2pm - 5pm at the Royal Event Center, 825 Bilbo Street, Lake Charles. All athletes are welcomed and encouraged to wear your medals for this year's senior games. Dress attire is Sunday's best, or business casual wear. We look forward to seeing all of you tomorrow.

Day 2 of SWLA District Senior Games will commence promptly at 9:30am, featuring Track and Field events. A rolling schedule will be implemented. We kindly request that all athletes arrive on time, if not earlier than scheduled, to facilitate timely completion of events prior to the anticipated inclement weather. We look forward to seeing all Track and Field athletes tomorrow at McNeese State Track.
