Our local LifeShare blood center is suffering from a critical blood shortage.
West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital will be hosting a community blood drive on March 27 at Dynamic Dimensions in Sulphur from 8 am - 5 pm and encourage all healthy and willing individuals to donate.
Blood donation is not a mass gathering or social event. There will be a process for waiting as well as limiting the number of individuals in the donation area.
All blood collection facilities follow industry mandated infection control standards for donor rooms and mobile buses, which include sanitation of donor waiting areas and all donation equipment.
Please refer to the following site, to schedule your available time to donate.
