Beautiful story - definitely hope Hollywood reads it!!!

Victoria Monét was pressured to abort her daughter because motherhood would be “difficult.”

She proved them wrong.

In 2021, Victoria Monét told her record label that she was pregnant.

Their response was shocking.

One associate created a PowerPoint presentation listing the reasons they thought Monét shouldn’t have a baby.

“In retrospect, it was really, really disheartening. I had a person on my team… really hurt my feelings because they made a PowerPoint presentation to me about how difficult it will be for me.

And the finale of the presentation was, ‘what’s the rush?’ So, it felt like an encouragement to get an abortion.”

Victoria walked out of the meeting ready to prove them wrong. She gave birth to her daughter Hazel, and 3 years later, she won multiple Grammys.

“She’s been the biggest blessing… I had these preconceived notions that having a child would suspend my career or make things even more difficult, but God just was like, ‘nope,’ but it’s been so fun.”

Having a baby does not mean you have to stop pursuing your dreams.

Women are capable of having both.
