The Family Legacy Foundation and KZWA 104.9 would be honored to have our veterans, active military members, and military families to have you join us downtown in Lake Charles for the Faye Brown Blackwell Juneteenth Festival on Friday, June 19, 2026. This celebration is about freedom, heritage, culture, and community and we believe it is important to recognize and welcome those who have served, as well as those currently serving.

The American Legion Post 1 (1530 9th St, Lake Charles, LA) would like to invite VFW Post 2130 to attend our annual remembrance ceremony to honor our fallen. Dinner will be served afterwards. Hope to see you there and share some military camaraderie.
