Lake Butler Woman's Club

Lake Butler Woman's Club Lake Butler Woman's Club The GFWC Lake Butler Woman's Club was organized on October 8, 1912 as the Civic League.

In 1914, they became a part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs. The name of the club was changed to Lake Butler Woman's Club. The GFWC Lake Butler Woman's Club is in District 4 of the Florida Federation of Women's Clubs.

Lake Butler Woman’s Club members traveled to Green Cove Springs today for a District meeting. The theme was “Strength in Numbers.” Members were introduced to the state President’s project, “Fired up for Firefighters.”Those in attendance were Bobbie Morgan, Ann Hendricks, Maria Mahoney, June Keefe, Jean Waters, Margot Van Peterson and Rose Martin-Sheridan.
