Here is the Lie!!!!!! Vs proof ! The grant was filed in 2022 and it was recieved at the end of 2022 beginning of 2023. Therefore it should have been put in the aduit for that year before July 31 2023 and was not. Last month June meeting Debbie Ashire told the Jennings daily news that the grant was in the audit and was public knowledge. Yes we know it was public knowledge and we had that information before that lie was told to the news person after the meeting one on one. On Yesterday July town hall meeting when the grant was mention in the audit !!! It was stated it is going to be filed in the audit 2023-2024. Wrong wrong !!!!! Again it should have been in the audit that ended the year July 31 2023. And not July 31 2024. I'm going to let this part of info out because the city officials are trying to convince the other people in the room of the lies. We come with proof and receipts. If you look under Revenue there is Grant, do you see a amount cause maybe I'm blind that ended the facial year July 31 2023 but Debbie said it was!!! Let's look at Debbie Abshires statement to the news reporter of Jennings Daily News. She said the grant was audit and was fine!!! Really really really!!!! Stop stop stop the the lying people.

Public Notice: West End Community Committee will be meeting with the mayor of Lake Arthur and Council Members on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at MLK West End Park. Time will be announced.

Louisiana Sunshine Law states that 3 Council members may meet. If more than 3, an official notice must be given 24 hours before the meeting and meeting minutes must be recorded and made public record. Town clerk may post this meeting due to committee requesting 8 days prior to actual day.
