The Eagle Project by James. Part 1 Day 2

Only day 2.
But oh boy did we make a dent.
James picked an eagle project that started right after a storm and record-breaking winter. So there was more mud and sand and rocks then anyone could imagine. But the drainage project moves on.
Today was over 50 buckets removed. About 500 more to go...yaaaay! And the old cover was towed away and cut up into pieces. Thanks to Maddox for coming in and helping.
Next work day is September 9th and 10th. 10am to 2pm. Or anytime anyone can help.
After that it's on 16th and 17th of September.
Join us! We have more shovels and more buckets to fill!
Food and drinks provided.

We came. We played. We conquered.
Camp Big Horn 2023 season is over. All earned their merit badges. All had fun. Great staff. Great food. Great place. Thanks to all scouts and parents.

Joshua Tree weekend camp 2023. Hot. Windy. But they had fun. Master Chef Mr William made some blackened steaks and double fried fries. And there were smores, off course...
Axe throwing was a hit. And we had a ground squirel who tried to bbq itself. Some large lizards visited us as well.
The strawberry moon paid us a visit as well.

During the Warsaw uprising of WW II which started on August 1st 1944 and lasted for 63 days, the biggest uprising during the war, Scouts played a huge role before, during and after.
These young men and women should be remembered as heroes and victims of the time they lived in at the same time.
Knowing Scouting History should be a must.
