Mountains' Humane Society Pet Rescue

Serving the San Bernardino Mountains, from Cedar Pines Park to Big Bear! We cover our mountain community from Cedar Pines Park to Big Bear.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit pet rescue, run by a group of volunteers coming together to better the lives of the domestic animals on our mountain range since 1975. We are a 501c3 rescue that offers assistance with spay/neuter, emergency medical and dental for seniors, low income, veterans and the disabled. We also find homes for the unwanted animals. We work hard helping stray animals, abandoned animals, owner surrenders and reuniting lost and found animals with their owners.

Courtesy posting these puppies who desperately need foster homes!
They are estimated to be 5-8 weeks old, are weened and eating puppy chow, and all have appointments for vaccines and deworming. Their current foster home is not working out and they need homes! They may be up for adoption depending on how old the vet check up estimates them to be so if you’re interested in these adorable pups give us a call at 909.337.6422!

Courtesy post: Foster home needed for nursing mom and her 7 puppies! Possible lab mixes - mom is approximately 25lbs. We really need your help, if you can lend a space for these beautiful puppies and their mom reach out ASAP!

‼️🚨URGENT FOSTER needed for Pep🚨‼️Pep is available for adoption as well. Pep has had multiple videos posted about him that we will add below. He is a 1 year old possible Akbash looking for a forever home but more importantly looking for an urgent foster home at this time! All cats were removed from property and most of them are getting spayed and neutered and vaccinated!!!

1300 Golden Rule, Lake Arrowhead, California. 8:30 AM through 3:30 PM Monday through Friday, now through June 11!

URGENT! FOSTERS NEEDED and LOTS!
We have 24 cats found in a house that all need placement. The Mountains’ Humane Society is willing to sponsor the spay/neutering and vaccinating of all cats. However, as a foster based rescue we first turn to the community to ask for volunteers who might be willing to foster a cat or kitten! Let us know if you’re interested so we can help rescue these cats!

🚨‼️URGENT‼️🚨
Foster needed for Diet Dr. Pepper or “Pep”

Foster home cannot keep him any longer, due to having two other very sick dogs recently that need attention (not contagious diseases or anything like that)

Pep is
-Great with Dogs
-Great with Cats
-Housebroken
-LOVES people
-Neutered and Vaccinated

Pep was found abandoned, emaciated, and injured with a ratchet strap tied around his neck as a leash. The MHS has been nursing him back to health!

Do you guys remember ROCKY? He was injured as a stray, and this community pulled together to raise money for his vet bills! Well, not only has Rocky fully recovered but he’s been ADOPTED!

Rocky absolutely loves his forever home, and as you can clearly see from this video he’s having a blast with his new family! Rocky will continue to get loads of attention from his new mom and dad who both work from home!

This is why we do what we do! Yay Rocky!
