Today, The Hideout Elves provided more than 50 children with free back-to-school haircuts!

We are incredibly grateful to the Lake Ariel Volunteer Fire Company Official Site for providing us with a safe space for this event. Special thanks to The Meagher Team at REMAX for providing the pizza, Qwikmart Lake Ariel for donating ice and cold drinks, and Tinesha Duran for donating more than 30 backpacks filled with school supplies.

A huge thank-you also goes to
DJ Billy for keeping the energy high with amazing music, all the barbers and hairstylists who stepped away from their businesses to make a difference, and the wonderful ladies who came out of retirement to cut hair alongside us.

Together, we helped give every child a fresh haircut and a confident start to the school year!

We also want to recognize our volunteer firefighters—Steven Redmond, Brett Reingold, and Phil for helping with setup.

We could not make these events possible without our fundraisers and generous supporters.

Please keep an eye out for our next event: a 5K run to help provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need.

Donations are always welcome, and we are committed to being transparent with every contribution.

We’re excited to offer FREE back-to-school haircuts, tomorrow!

Thanks to the incredible support from our community, two additional hairstylists have volunteered to help.

If you didn’t sign up, don’t worry—we welcome all children who need a fresh haircut for the new school year!

DJ Billy will also be joining us with great music as we celebrate the start of another school year.

The 50/50 raffle raised $200 for the Lake Ariel Fire Department.

We’ve added more time slots thanks to Nana Elsie’s tireless volunteer efforts.

Elsie reached out to Brieanna, owner of Olive & Lees Hair Design, who graciously said yes and closed her salon for the day to stand with our future leaders.

The Hideout elves deeply appreciate every volunteer and supporter helping the kids look their best on their first day of school.

August 8, Saturday looks like rain, so you might be wondering what to do with the kids.

Look no further—we still have tickets for the Kids Lunch Game Show—$15 per child, which includes lunch and entertaining games and prizes hosted by professional actors.

If you don’t have kids but don’t want to sit at home on a rainy day, join the Adults-Only Game Show and enjoy a great meal with live game-show entertainment and prizes.

About 40 tickets are still available for the adult show.

All proceeds go toward our free back-to-school haircuts and other community programs.
