What a great year for our annual youth rabbit and squirrel hunt. Thank you all who came out this year, you help make this event amazing. Huge thank you to Parents, guardians and friends who took the time to take a youth out into nature.
It always does our hearts good to see the smiles and the thrill in the eyes or our future.
SAL and all of us here at Laingsburg American Legion hope you had wonderful time. We are looking forward to next year and hope to see you all again.
A lot of prep, planning and time put into this event, I want to thank each and everyone who helped. Many hands make light work. We definitely had a good crew this year all the way around. THANK YOU

Today is the day, 35 with snow this afternoon. Thank you to all who signed up, last chance is this morning 8 to 10. good luck to all and have a successful and safe hunt. Check in will be in the pole barn at the post. starting at 4pm must be in line no later than 6pm. 5 rabbits 5 squirrel's limit. Banquet starts as soon as everyone is checked in. We will have food and drinks available from 4pm to the end. Also have a nice gun safe to raffle off as well as 6 guns this year. 450, 350, 2- 28gage semi, 556/223, 17wsm. FFL will be present this year so if you pass check you can leave with it. Instead of having to win one then go pick it up. Remember all state and federal laws apply today. Was nice to see the turn out for sign up yesterday. Can still get signed up this coming Friday evening and Saturday morning. Looking like 30s and maybe some fresh snow for the hunt Saturday.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and has a Happy New Year. We are getting very close to hunt time. With sign up starting a week from today. January 3rd downstairs, 2pm to 6pm. Then Friday January 9th 6pm to 8 pm downstairs. Saturday January 10th or hunt day, 8am to 10am upstairs.

Miles of smiles across the hall tonight, what a beautiful site and the reason we love doing this hunt. Big shout out to the parents, guardians, relatives and friends who took the time to take a youth hunting. It makes sure of a necessary game management for years to come. Also makes some memories, they will never forget.
Laingsburg SAL would like to thank everyone who came out this year. We hope you had a wonderful time. The weather couldn't have been better.

Kenny and Max Lillie and C**t Toth. The amount of time and effort you put in to make this happen is greatly appreciated. Thank you to all the volunteers yesterday, you make it look easy and I know it's not.
One of our bigger years since Dave and Ron handed this to us. Again thank you to everyone that participated and we hope to see you in 2026.
