Good news! Nā Hulu Lehua: The Royal Cloak & Helmet of Kalaniʻōpuʻu, was accepted in this year’s Ohina Short Film Showcase. Produced by OHA, the 25-minute film documenting the return of Kalaniʻōpuʻu’s priceless feathered garments will play alongside 9 other short films in the Hawaii Theatre Center on Sept. 1.

All films included in the showcase are either filmed in Hawaiʻi or filmed by Hawaiʻi residents. The showcase will also travel to the neighbor islands and play in Hilo on Sept. 15th at the Palace Theatre and in Lānaʻi City at Halekeaka on Sept. 29. For more information visit http://www.ohina.org.
