The ongoing loss of kuleana lands through Quiet Title lawsuits and forced sales often happens simply because a family’s legal paper trail is fractured.

To stop this erasure, we must educate ourselves on how to navigate the very systems originally designed to separate us from our ʻāina.

This two day workshop:
•Day 01:
📅 Fri., April 17th
⏱️5p-830p

•Day 02:
📅 Sat., April 18
⏱️ 8a-5p

📍 Location: J. Cameron Center 95 Mahalani Street, Wailuku 96793

•Keeaumoku and Uʻi Kapu are bringing their frontline experience to Maui Komohana again for a critical Kuleana Land Workshop.

This is a dedicated, educational space where Kānaka will learn the practical legal steps of land retention.

They will be teaching how to draft and officially record an affidavit of claim with the Bureau of Conveyances—the necessary step to tie your family's genealogy to your ancestral Land Commission Awards (LCAs).

Filing this paperwork puts the state on notice, clears up "clouded" titles, and is the first line of defense in keeping Hawaiian land in Hawaiian hands.

Please share this with any ʻohana who needs to take these vital steps to secure their family lands.

Mahalo to Mutual Aid Lāhui & Nā ʻAikāne o Maui for putting this together
